Center for Task Force Training (CenTF)

Created in 1991, the Center for Task Force Training (CenTF) Program strives to increase the operational effectiveness of multijurisdictional narcotics task forces in the areas of task force command management, methamphetamine investigation management, and drug awareness.
The Institute for Intergovernmental Research (IIR) serves as the training and technical service provider for training, research, and analysis services through the support of grant awards received from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA). IIR provides on-site trainings—Task Force Commanders Workshop and Methamphetamine Investigative Workshop—and technical assistance to law enforcement agencies and task forces that relate to interagency agreements, policy and procedures, risk management, and performance measures.
