Search Help
Use the CenTF Resource Center's News Online search tool to find news articles of interest to you. Type specific words in the text field and click the Search button. By default, the search tool returns a list of articles that contain at least one occurrence of every word you typed. You can modify this behavior by selecting "Any of these words" or "Exact phrase".
Here are a few tips for using this search tool:
-
The search tool will only search articles reviewed by CenTF Resource Center staff.
-
Choose keywords wisely. Do not include common words like "the", "and", "for", etc.
-
Wildcard searches (with asterisk or any other character) are not supported.
-
There are no special characters (i.e. ,;"?.<>) that can be used to modify the behavior of a search. For example, wrapping a phrase with quotes will not force a search for the exact phrase. Instead, the quotes will force the search tool to only return articles that have a quote before the first word and after the last word you entered. To match on an exact phrase you should select "Exact phrase" from the drop down list as explained above.
