Staff Accountant

The Institute for Intergovernmental Research (IIR) is seeking a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Staff Accountant. The incumbent will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting, clerical and bookkeeping tasks. Duties will include maintenance of accounting records, preparing and processing accounting transactions and reports. High school diploma or GED is required (accounting and/or business education preferred). Qualified candidates must have experience with excel spreadsheets and computerized accounting systems.

Candidate must also be well organized, computer literate, and task-oriented, possess a strong attention to detail, function as a team member, and have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
