Center for Task Force Leadership and Integrity (CTFLI)
The Center for Task Force Leadership and Integrity (CTFLI) online training and resource center is a restricted-access Web site that addresses the varying needs of our nation’s law enforcement officers, commanders, and executive leadership involved in task force operations. The online training and resources provide a foundation for local, state, and tribal law enforcement task force personnel to effectively combat multijurisdictional criminal organizations, while operating with integrity and accountability with regard to individuals' privacy, civil rights, and civil liberties and promoting officer safety. Training focuses on the organizational and operational philosophies of successful task forces and includes strategies for effective leadership and management of task forces.
The Institute for Intergovernmental Research (IIR) serves as the online training provider for training, research, and analysis services through the support of grant awards received from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA). IIR provides online training to address the needs of law enforcement practitioners at all levels in the area of task force leadership and management:
Task Force Commander Leadership and Management
Safeguarding Privacy, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties in Task Force Operations
Criminal Intelligence Systems Operating Policies (28 CFR Part 23)
